jTLC is a software devised to help and assist the chromatographic analysis of substance samples, including some oils like biodiesel, from images of base plates on which analysis experiments were made.

The software processes the image and calculates the mean for each sample in the sources. Using the mean data, it computes the position of each component of the compound and the region that it occupies, which is then integrated to compute the superficial area of the corresponding region.

Using the area values and the total surface, the software computes the relative area of each component and generates reports with the results of this process.
